Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is much better than LG Optimus Pad LTE, having a 69 score against 56.4. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is a notably newer device, and it's also somewhat thinner and notably lighter than the LG Optimus Pad LTE. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has the newer 11 version while LG Optimus Pad LTE has Android 3.2, providing the user lots of additional features.

The LG Optimus Pad LTE features a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because although it has a bit lower 720 x 1280 resolution and a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a little larger display. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) features a better performance than LG Optimus Pad LTE, because it has a greater number of cores.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) features a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than LG Optimus Pad LTE, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) takes much clearer videos and photos than LG Optimus Pad LTE. Both of them have a same resolution back camera.

The LG Optimus Pad LTE features longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity.
