The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has an overall score of 60.5, which is slightly better than LG Optimus Pad LTE's 56.4 overall score. Both tablets in our current comparison have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a more recent 7.1 Nougat version while LG Optimus Pad LTE has Android 3.2 version. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 body is newer, extremely thinner and just a bit lighter than LG Optimus Pad LTE.

LG Optimus Pad LTE counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 720 x 1280 and a just a little higher number of pixels in each display inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features just a bit better hardware performance than LG Optimus Pad LTE, because it has a greater number of cores.

LG Optimus Pad LTE counts with a bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory.
