The Microsoft Surface 2 is just a bit better than the Apple iPad mini (7th Gen), having a overall score of 63.4 against 61. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 OS, while Apple iPad mini (7th Gen) counts with iPadOS 15.x OS. Apple iPad mini (7th Gen) has a much better display than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1488 x 2266 pixels resolution and a lot more pixels per inch of screen.
IPad mini (7th Gen) counts with as much memory to store more games and applications as the Microsoft Surface 2, and although the iPad mini (7th Gen) has no external memory card slot, they both have the same 64 GB internal memory. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with an extremely better processing unit than iPad mini (7th Gen), although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster).
The Apple iPad mini (7th Gen) takes much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 2, because it has a lot higher resolution camera in the back and a lot higher video quality. Apple iPad mini (7th Gen)'s battery lifetime is just as good as the Microsoft Surface 2 one.
