Comparison review

Microsoft Surface 2 is a bit better than HP ProPad 600, having a 63.4 score against 58.2. These devices have Windows OS, but the Microsoft Surface 2 has a more recent RT 8.1 version while HP ProPad 600 has Windows 8.1 version, so it gives you a couple additional features and optimized performance. Even though the Microsoft Surface 2 and HP ProPad 600 were only released with a couple months difference, Microsoft Surface 2's body is a little bit heavier but also somewhat thinner.

The HP ProPad 600 and Microsoft Surface 2 count with extremely similar processors, and although the HP ProPad 600 has 2 GB more RAM, they both have a Quad-Core CPU. The HP ProPad 600 has a little sharper screen than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a little bit more pixels per inch in the display.

The HP ProPad 600 and Microsoft Surface 2 count with very similar memory for apps and games, and although the HP ProPad 600 has no slot for an SD memory card, they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity. The HP ProPad 600 has a way better battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2. HP ProPad 600 counts with a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface 2, because it has a camera in the back with lot more megapixels.

Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HP ProPad 600, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HP ProPad 600. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the HP ProPad 600, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
