Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 2 has a score of 63.4, which is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 score. Microsoft Surface 2 works with Windows RT 8.1 OS, and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 OS. The Microsoft Surface 2 is a better tablet than the Huawei MediaPad M1, it must be noted that it's also a somewhat thicker and extremely heavier tablet.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 features just a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface 2, although it has a really smaller display, a bit lower count of pixels per display inch and a lot lower 1280 x 800 resolution. Microsoft Surface 2 has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 56 GB more internal memory.
Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit faster CPU than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Microsoft Surface 2 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1. They have a camera with a 5 mega-pixels, the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rates.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei MediaPad M1. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Huawei MediaPad M1, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
