The Microsoft Surface 2 is a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, having a score of 63.4 against 60.4. The Microsoft Surface 2 body is somewhat thicker and extremely heavier than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. The Microsoft Surface 2 comes with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3 operating system.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a slightly better looking screen than Microsoft Surface 2, although it has a much smaller screen, a bit lower pixel number in each display inch and a lot worse 1280 x 800 resolution. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface 2 also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a very superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface 2. Both of them have the same 1280x720 video definition, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rates.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Microsoft Surface 2, else you can save some dollars and get the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, resigning some specifications.
