Microsoft Surface Go has a global score of 66.5, which is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface 2's 63.4 global score. Both of these tablets use Windows OS, but the Microsoft Surface Go has the older 10 version and Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1. The Microsoft Surface Go is a incredibly newer device, and it is also extremely lighter and a little bit thinner than Microsoft Surface 2.

Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit better display than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a just a little lower screen density and a little bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a little bit larger display. The Microsoft Surface 2 features just a little better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores.

Microsoft Surface Go features just a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Microsoft Surface Go also has a lot more mega pixels back facing camera. Microsoft Surface Go features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.

The Microsoft Surface Go and Microsoft Surface 2 both feature really similar batteries.
