Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 2 is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro, having a overall score of 63.4 against 63.2. The Microsoft Surface 2 is a newer tablet, and it's also much thinner and incredibly lighter than Microsoft Surface Pro. These tablets include Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface 2 has a more recent RT 8.1 version while Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro version.
Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a display that's very similar to the display in Microsoft Surface 2, both of them have a same size display, an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution and the same screen pixels density. Microsoft Surface Pro features just a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a lower number of 1700 MHz cores, it also counts with an additional graphics processor and more RAM.
The Microsoft Surface Pro features a superior storage to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Microsoft Surface 2 features a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a lot more MP back facing camera and a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
The Microsoft Surface 2 and the Microsoft Surface Pro count with very similar batteries.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it costs more than the Microsoft Surface Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Surface Pro. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface 2, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface Pro, giving up some features and specifications.
