Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a lot better than Microsoft Surface 2, with an 82.4 score against 63.4. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) design is way newer and just a little thinner, but somewhat heavier than the Microsoft Surface 2. Both tablets in this review come with Windows OS, but Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has the older 10 Pro version and Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a bit sharper display than Microsoft Surface 2, because it has a greater display density, a bigger screen and a way higher 2736 x 1824 resolution. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory.
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has just a bit better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has 2 less cpu cores , it also counts with more RAM. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) and Microsoft Surface 2 have really similar batteries. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) takes just a bit better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also has a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a lot more expensive than Microsoft Surface 2, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
