Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface 2, getting a 65 score against 63.4. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 construction is just a bit thinner and somewhat lighter than Microsoft Surface 2, even when they were released only a couple months apart. Both tablets we are comparing work with Windows OS (Operating System), but the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has 8 version and Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1.
Microsoft Surface 2 features a little more vivid screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a quite larger screen, a greater number of pixels per screen inch and a better resolution of 1080 x 1920px. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has more cpu cores.
Microsoft Surface 2 shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Both of them have the same resolution camera, the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition. The Microsoft Surface 2 and the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 both feature similar storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, and although the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has no SD memory slot, they both have equal 64 GB internal memory.
The Microsoft Surface 2 and the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 have extremely similar batteries duration.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is not only the best tablets of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones.
