Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 7 is a bit better than Microsoft Surface 2, having a 64.9 score against 63.4. Both of these devices use Windows OS (operating system), but Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has the previous 8 version while Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1. Even being the best in our current comparison, the Samsung ATIV Tab 7 design is older, way thicker and notably heavier than the Microsoft Surface 2.
Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit better screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Microsoft Surface 2 also counts with a quite higher pixel amount per inch of display. Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
Microsoft Surface 2 has a much powerful processor than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has less RAM memory and doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with more cpu cores. The Samsung ATIV Tab 7's battery lifetime is just as good as the Microsoft Surface 2 one. The Microsoft Surface 2 and the Samsung ATIV Tab 7 have extremely similar cameras, both have a same resolution back-facing camera.
