The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a score of 66.3, which is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface 2's 63.4 general score. Galaxy Note 10.1's design has the same thickness than the Microsoft Surface 2, but it is somewhat lighter. The Galaxy Note 10.1 works with Android 4.4 operating system, while Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 operating system.

Microsoft Surface 2 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a higher count of pixels per inch of display, a little larger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
