Microsoft Surface 2 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, getting a global score of 63.4 against 63. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 OS, while Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE comes with Android 4.4.2 OS. Microsoft Surface 2's body has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, but it is somewhat heavier.

The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE. Both of them have 2 GB of RAM memory and 4 cpu cores. The Microsoft Surface 2 features a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px, a little bit larger screen and a higher count of pixels per inch of screen.

So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface 2, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, giving up a couple features and specifications.
