Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface 2, getting a 65.9 score against 63.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch works with Android 4.2 operating system, while Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 operating system. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a somewhat thinner and notably lighter portable tablet than Microsoft Surface 2, even when both were released with only a couple months difference.
The Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a much better resolution of 1080 x 1920, a little larger screen and a better display pixels density. Microsoft Surface 2 has a little bit more memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
