The Microsoft Surface 2 has a score of 63.4, which is better than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's 57.5 global score. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, and GALAXY Tab 3 Kids works with Android 4.1 operating system. Microsoft Surface 2's construction is somewhat thinner but a lot heavier than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and they were released only 1 months apart.
Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a screen that is just as good as the screen in Microsoft Surface 2, although the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a much lower 600 x 1024 resolution, a much smaller screen and a just a bit inferior pixel amount per display inch.
