Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), getting a 63.4 score against 60.4. Despite being the best in this comparison, the Microsoft Surface 2 body is extremely older, just a little thicker and noticeably heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016). The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) works with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a just a little inferior pixel quantity in each display inch, it also counts with a way bigger screen and a much better resolution of 1080 x 1920. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) shoots much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 2. They have the same video frame rates, the same 1280x720 video definition and the same resolution camera. The Microsoft Surface 2 features a much better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.

Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab A (2016). If you want to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy Tab A (2016), and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
