Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active is slightly better than Microsoft Surface 2, having a general score of 67 against 63.4. Galaxy Tab Active's construction is newer and noticeably lighter than Microsoft Surface 2's, but it's also just a little bit thicker. Galaxy Tab Active comes with Android 4.4 OS, while Microsoft Surface 2 works with Windows RT 8.1 OS.
Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface 2 also counts with 512 MB more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a little bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface 2, although it has a little lower quantity of pixels per screen inch, a lot smaller display and a lot lower 1280 x 800 resolution.
The Microsoft Surface 2 features a much better memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab Active features a really longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 2.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface 2, although it has a way lower (HD) video definition and a way less mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is not only the best tablets between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones.
