Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface 2 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab E, with a general score of 63.4 against 60.7. The Microsoft Surface 2 works with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, and Galaxy Tab E works with Android 4.4 operating system. Although the Microsoft Surface 2 is better than the Galaxy Tab E, it must be told that it is also an older, a bit thicker and way heavier tablet device.

The Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has 512 MB more RAM memory. Microsoft Surface 2 features a sharper display than Galaxy Tab E, because it has a much higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px, a better count of pixels per inch in the screen and a little bigger display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E shoots much better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface 2. They have the same video frame rates, a same resolution camera and the same 1280x720 video quality. Microsoft Surface 2 features much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Tab E has a really longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 2.
