Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is way better than the Microsoft Surface 2, getting a score of 78.5 against 63.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 construction is somewhat thinner but a little bit heavier than the Microsoft Surface 2, and both were released with only a couple of months difference. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with Android 4.4 operating system, while Microsoft Surface 2 comes with Windows RT 8.1 operating system.
Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has a higher amount of RAM and an additional graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a much better looking display than Microsoft Surface 2, because it has a bigger display, a just a bit better pixels amount in each inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 2. They have equal internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a greater camera than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has a camera with lot more MP.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 2.
Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is also by far the cheapest one.
