The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is better than Microsoft Surface 2, with a 74.5 score against 63.4. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 OS, while Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 OS. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 construction is a lot lighter and notably thinner than the Microsoft Surface 2, although both of them were released only 9 months apart.
