The Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a general score of 66, which is slightly better than Microsoft Surface 2's 63.4 overall score. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a thicker and heavier tablet device than Microsoft Surface 2. Both of these devices include Windows operating system, but the Sony Vaio Tap 11 has an older 8 version while Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 version.
