Comparison review
The Xiaomi MiPad is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface 2, having a score of 64.4 against 63.4. The Xiaomi MiPad is a a lot lighter and a little bit thinner tablet than Microsoft Surface 2, even when both were only released with a couple months difference. The Xiaomi MiPad counts with Android operating system, while Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 operating system.
The Xiaomi MiPad features a little faster CPU than Microsoft Surface 2. They have the same RAM amount and a Quad-Core processing unit. The Xiaomi MiPad features a sharper screen than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher pixels count per inch of display and a higher 2048 x 1536 resolution.
Xiaomi MiPad has a way better camera than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi MiPad also has a lot higher resolution camera in the back. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi MiPad, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
