Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a general score of 66.3, which is slightly better than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2's score of 62.5. The Microsoft Surface 3 body has the same thickness than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but it is a lot heavier. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a little better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core processing unit.
Microsoft Surface 3 has just a bit better screen than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a much better 1920 x 1280 resolution, a bit higher pixels amount per display inch and a lot larger screen. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has just a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a lot less mega-pixels back facing camera and a worse 1920x1080 video quality.
Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a better memory to store more games and applications than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface 3.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Alcatel JOY TAB 2. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface 3, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, resigning a couple specs and features.
