Microsoft Surface 3 is slightly better than the Apple iPad 10.2 (2020), having a 66.3 score against 62.2. Even though the Microsoft Surface 3 is a better portable tablet than the Apple iPad 10.2 (2020), we must highlight that it is also a much older, thicker and way heavier portable tablet. The iPad 10.2 (2020) features a more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1620 x 2160 and a little bit more pixels per screen inch.
Microsoft Surface 3 features a very superior processing unit than iPad 10.2 (2020), because although it has 2 lesser CPU cores (although faster), it also counts with more RAM. The Apple iPad 10.2 (2020) takes much better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface 3. Both of them have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same resolution back camera.
