Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a score of 82.4, which is a lot better than Microsoft Surface 3's 66.3 overall score. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s construction is incredibly newer and a little bit thinner than the Microsoft Surface 3's, but it is heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has just a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with more RAM.

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features just a bit better display than Microsoft Surface 3, because it has a little more pixels per inch in the display, a way better resolution of 2736 x 1824 and a little bit bigger screen. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features much more memory to store more games and applications than Microsoft Surface 3, because it has more internal storage.

The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s camera is just as good as the Microsoft Surface 3 one, both of them have the same (Full HD) video definition, a 8 MP resolution camera and the same video frame rate. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a battery duration that's very similar to the Microsoft Surface 3 one.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Surface 3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), else you can save some dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface 3, letting go a couple specifications.
