Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 3 is much better than the Microsoft Surface RT, getting a 66.3 score against 58.4. The Microsoft Surface 3 is a noticeably newer portable tablet, and it's also a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than Microsoft Surface RT. Microsoft Surface RT features a little better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface RT also counts with a graphics co-processor.
Microsoft Surface 3 features a bit more vivid display than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a quite larger screen, a much better 1920 x 1280 pixels resolution and a greater screen density. Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a much greater storage to install applications and games than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
Microsoft Surface RT and Microsoft Surface 3 both feature incredibly similar battery durations. Microsoft Surface 3 captures much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has a back facing camera with a lot better 8 mega pixels resolution.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Microsoft Surface RT. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface 3, else you can save some money and buy the Microsoft Surface RT, giving up some features and specs.
