Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab is slightly better than Microsoft Surface 3, with a 66.7 score against 66.3. Samsung Ativ Tab is an extremely older and a bit thicker tablet than the Microsoft Surface 3, but Samsung made it just a little lighter anyway. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a bit faster CPU than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with 2 more cpu cores and a larger amount of RAM.
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a little bit better looking display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a better pixels number per inch of display, a bit larger screen and a way better 1920 x 1280px resolution. The Microsoft Surface 3 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a back camera with lot more mega pixels and a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a bit more storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a much longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 3.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Microsoft Surface 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Microsoft Surface 3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface 3, letting go a couple features and specs.
