The Microsoft Surface 3 is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), having a 66.3 score against 65. Even though Microsoft Surface 3 is just a bit heavier than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), it's somewhat thinner and much newer. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with just a bit better screen than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a lot worse resolution of 800 x 1280, way lesser pixels per inch of screen and a quite smaller screen.

The Microsoft Surface 3 has a very superior storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and 3 GB more RAM.

Microsoft Surface 3 features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has a much more MP camera in the back. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a much better battery duration than Microsoft Surface 3.

Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
