Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface 3 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), having a overall score of 66.3 against 60.7. The Microsoft Surface 3 design is notably newer and thinner, but also extremely heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a quite better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a larger number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a bit more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a really smaller display, a quite lower pixel density and a way worse 600 x 1024 resolution. The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.

Microsoft Surface 3 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a way better (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a lot higher 8 mega pixels resolution. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a really longer battery life than Microsoft Surface 3.

Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface 3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), letting go a couple specs and features.
