Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a score of 66.3, which is better than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's 57.5 global score. Even though the Microsoft Surface 3 is much heavier than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, it's somewhat thinner and also newer. Microsoft Surface 3 features a bit better processing power than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a greater number of cores and more RAM.
Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a little bit better display than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a really smaller screen, a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen and a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024px. The Microsoft Surface 3 features much more memory for games and applications than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a way better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 3. The Microsoft Surface 3 takes much better photos and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a back-facing camera with way more MP.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
