Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a global score of 66.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's overall score of 65.6. Microsoft Surface 3's construction is newer and a bit thinner, but also extremely heavier than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a brighter display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a lot lower 1280 x 800px resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher display density.
The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has more RAM. Microsoft Surface 3 has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a much better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 3. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a much better camera than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a much lower 1280x720 video quality and a back camera with a much lower 3 MP resolution.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface 3, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, letting go a couple specifications.
