Microsoft Surface 3 is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab A (2016), having a overall score of 66.3 against 60.4. The Microsoft Surface 3 design has the same thickness than Galaxy Tab A (2016), but it is heavier. Microsoft Surface 3 has just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has more RAM memory.

The Microsoft Surface 3 features a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a just a little lower number of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a way better 1920 x 1280px resolution and a much larger screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a back camera with lot less MP and a lot lower 1280x720 (HD) video quality.

The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with much more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with a much better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 3.

Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab A (2016). If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab A (2016), giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
