Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 3 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, with a 66.3 score against 62.8. Although it's the best tablet device in this comparison, Microsoft Surface 3's design is somewhat thicker and a lot heavier than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a greater screen density, a lot bigger screen and a lot better 1920 x 1280 pixels resolution.
Microsoft Surface 3 features a much bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a very superior battery life than Microsoft Surface 3. Microsoft Surface 3 has a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a lot higher (Full HD) video definition and a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab A 8.0. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
