Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a little bit better than Microsoft Surface 3, with a overall score of 70 against 66.3. Even though the Galaxy Tab Active 2 is somewhat thicker than Microsoft Surface 3, it's incredibly lighter and notably newer. Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a little better processing power than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with 4 more 1.6 gigahertz CPU cores.
Microsoft Surface 3 features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a much larger screen, a quite higher pixel quantity per inch in the screen and a much better resolution of 1920 x 1280px. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface 3. Both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, a 8 MP resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rate.
Microsoft Surface 3 has a way bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 3.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is more expensive than Microsoft Surface 3, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
