The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a general score of 78.5, which is better than the Microsoft Surface 3's 66.3 global score. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is an older and somewhat heavier tablet device than the Microsoft Surface 3, but Samsung was able to make it a little thinner anyway. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a sharper display than Microsoft Surface 3, because it has a bit greater display pixels density, a little larger screen and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560px.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a bit faster processor than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a much better camera than Microsoft Surface 3. Both have the same video frame rates, the same (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with an 8 mega pixels.

The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with slightly more storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface 3.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is not only the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest.
