Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has a global score of 73.4, which is much better than Microsoft Surface 3's 66.3 general score. The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch is a incredibly lighter and way thinner portable tablet than Microsoft Surface 3, even when both of them were only released with a few months difference.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch features a much sharper display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and more pixels per inch in the display. Microsoft Surface 3 has a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because it has more RAM and a higher number of cores.
The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a bit more storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
