The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch is much better than Microsoft Surface 3, having a overall score of 73.6 against 66.3. Even when Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch and Microsoft Surface 3 were released with only 4 months difference, Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch is way thinner and way lighter. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has a sharper display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a quite better 1536 x 2048 resolution.
The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a bit more storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch features a bit more powerful processor than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and they are faster).
