The Galaxy Tab S3 is much better than the Microsoft Surface 3, with a general score of 75.2 against 66.3. The Galaxy Tab S3 is a newer tablet device, and it is also noticeably lighter and noticeably thinner than the Microsoft Surface 3. Galaxy Tab S3 has a slightly better looking screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher number of pixels in each display inch and a slightly better resolution of 1536 x 2048px.

The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a greater storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features a bit superior processor than Microsoft Surface 3. Both have 4 cores and the same RAM amount.

The Galaxy Tab S3 has a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface 3. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a greater camera than Microsoft Surface 3, because it has a camera with a much higher resolution and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.

Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, Galaxy Tab S3 is also by far the cheapest, making buying this tablet an easy decision.
