The Microsoft Surface 3 is much better than the Sony Tablet S, with a general score of 66.3 against 57.5. The Microsoft Surface 3 construction is a lot newer and thinner than the Sony Tablet S's, but it is just a little heavier. Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a better hardware performance than Sony Tablet S, because it has 3 GB more RAM and a larger number of faster cores.
Microsoft Surface 3 features a bit more vivid display than Sony Tablet S, because it has more pixels per inch in the display, a little bigger display and a way better resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels. Sony Tablet S shoots clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a way worse (HD) video resolution and a camera with way less mega-pixels resolution.
The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Tablet S, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. The Sony Tablet S counts with a much longer battery life than Microsoft Surface 3.
