The Microsoft Surface 3 has a global score of 66.3, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's 65.7 score. The Microsoft Surface 3 is better than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, we must note that it's also a way heavier and noticeably thicker tablet. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features a little faster processing unit than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Quad-Core CPU.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a sharper display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher 1536 x 2048px resolution and a lot higher display pixel density. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a much better camera than Microsoft Surface 3. They have the same video frame rate, a camera in the back with an 8 MP and the same 1920x1080 video quality.
The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, because it has more internal storage. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features a much longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 3.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
