Microsoft Surface 2 has a score of 63.4, which is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro's score of 58.7. The Microsoft Surface 2 comes with Windows RT 8.1 OS, and Microsoft Surface 9 Pro has Windows OS. The Microsoft Surface 2 design is just a little thinner and incredibly lighter than the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro.
Microsoft Surface 2 features a little sharper display than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, although it has a quite smaller display, a quite lower amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a way worse 1080 x 1920px resolution. The Microsoft Surface 9 Pro counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a much greater processing power than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores. The Microsoft Surface 2's battery performance is very similar to the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro one. Microsoft Surface 2 and Microsoft Surface 9 Pro both have really similar cameras, although the Microsoft Surface 2 has a back facing camera with much less megapixels resolution.
