Microsoft Surface 9 Pro is a bit better than Sony Tablet S, with a 58.7 score against 57.5. The Microsoft Surface 9 Pro works with Windows operating system, while Sony Tablet S counts with Android 4.0 operating system. Microsoft Surface 9 Pro's design is incredibly heavier but just a bit thinner than the Sony Tablet S.

The Sony Tablet S counts with a much better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with more cpu cores. The Microsoft Surface 9 Pro counts with a bit sharper display than Sony Tablet S, because it has a lot better 1920 x 2880 resolution, way more pixels per inch in the display and a lot larger screen.

Sony Tablet S counts with a much better camera than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, although it has a lot less megapixels back facing camera. The Microsoft Surface 9 Pro has a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Tablet S, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory.

Sony Tablet S features a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro.
