The Microsoft Surface Go is much better than the Alcatel PLUS 12, with a 66.5 score against 58.9. Both devices in this review include the same Windows 10 OS, so both should give you identical OS features. The Microsoft Surface Go is a newer and lighter tablet than Alcatel PLUS 12, but it is also just a bit thicker.
Microsoft Surface Go counts with a bit better display than Alcatel PLUS 12, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher 1800 x 1200 pixels resolution and a just a bit greater count of pixels in each inch in the screen. The Microsoft Surface Go counts with a bit bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Alcatel PLUS 12, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Alcatel PLUS 12 has a bit faster processing unit than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has 4 GB less RAM memory, they both have 2 processing cores.
