Microsoft Surface Go has a general score of 66.5, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s score of 58.6. Even though the Microsoft Surface Go is older and way heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it's construction is still somewhat thinner. The Microsoft Surface Go works with Windows 10 OS, while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with 2 more cores. The Microsoft Surface Go has a little bit better display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a lot better 1800 x 1200px resolution, a little bit better pixel density and a bigger display.
