Both devices we are comparing here have Windows OS, but the Microsoft Surface Go has the older 10 version while Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1.

The Microsoft Surface 2 features a little better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with 2 more processing cores. The Microsoft Surface 2 features a little bit better display than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a bit lower number of pixels per inch of screen and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px, it also counts with a little bit bigger display.

Microsoft Surface Go counts with a way bigger memory for games and applications than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Microsoft Surface Go has just a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Microsoft Surface Go also has a back facing camera with much more MP.
