Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a score of 72.2, which is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Go's 66.5 global score. Both devices we compare here come with Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a more recent 8.1 Pro version while Microsoft Surface Go has Windows 10 version. Even being the best tablet device in this comparison, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 design is notably older, a little thicker and much heavier than Microsoft Surface Go.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a slightly better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Go, and although they both have the same number of pixels in each display inch, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a bigger screen and a higher 1440 x 2160 resolution. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features much more memory for games and applications than Microsoft Surface Go, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a processor that's just as good as the Microsoft Surface Go one, both have the same RAM memory amount and a Dual-Core processing unit. Microsoft Surface Go takes a little bit better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Microsoft Surface Go also has a way more megapixels back-facing camera.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a battery lifetime that's very similar to the Microsoft Surface Go one.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Microsoft Surface Go, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Surface Go. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, else you can save some money and buy the Microsoft Surface Go, letting go a couple features and specifications.
