Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Go has a score of 66.5, which is better than Microsoft Surface RT's general score of 58.4. Microsoft Surface Go's construction is incredibly newer, way lighter and somewhat thinner than Microsoft Surface RT. Both tablets we compare here work with Windows operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Go has the previous 10 version while Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT.

Microsoft Surface RT counts with a bit better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has 6 GB less RAM, it also counts with more CPU cores (although slower) and an extra graphics processor. The Microsoft Surface Go features just a bit better screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher display density and a way better resolution of 1800 x 1200 pixels.

The Microsoft Surface Go takes greater photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Microsoft Surface Go also has a back camera with way more megapixels. Microsoft Surface Go has a much greater memory for games and applications than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.

The Microsoft Surface RT's battery performance is just as good as Microsoft Surface Go's battery lifetime.

Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface RT. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Microsoft Surface RT, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
