Microsoft Surface Go has an overall score of 66.5, which is a little bit better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's score of 65. Both tablets in this review include Windows operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Go has newer 10 version and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8 version, so it provides a couple additional features. Although Microsoft Surface Go is a bit thicker than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, it's lighter and notably newer.

The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with a slightly better looking display than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a way worse resolution of 768 x 1366 pixels and a lot lower pixels number per inch in the display, it also counts with a little bigger display. Microsoft Surface Go has much more memory to install games and applications than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.

Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Samsung ATIV Tab 3, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
