The Samsung Ativ Tab is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Go, getting a 66.7 score against 66.5. Both devices in this comparison review work with Windows operating system, but Samsung Ativ Tab has the newer RT version while Microsoft Surface Go has Windows 10 version. Although it's the best in this comparison, Samsung Ativ Tab is a notably older, just a bit thicker and a little heavier portable tablet than Microsoft Surface Go.
Samsung Ativ Tab has a processing unit that is just as good as the Microsoft Surface Go one, because although the Samsung Ativ Tab has 6 GB less RAM memory, and they both have 2 processing cores, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Microsoft Surface Go counts with just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1800 x 1200 pixels and a greater display pixel density.
Microsoft Surface Go features a little bit better storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a much better battery life than Microsoft Surface Go. The Microsoft Surface Go takes slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a back facing camera with much more megapixels and a way better (Full HD) video definition.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Microsoft Surface Go, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Microsoft Surface Go. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Microsoft Surface Go, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
