Microsoft Surface Go is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), with a score of 66.5 against 60.7. The Microsoft Surface Go is a newer and thinner tablet than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), but it is noticeably heavier. Microsoft Surface Go has Windows 10 OS, while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 OS.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a way smaller display, a lot worse 600 x 1024 resolution and a little bit worse quantity of pixels per screen inch. The Microsoft Surface Go counts with a much better storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory.

Microsoft Surface Go has a better performing processor than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Go also has 7 GB more RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a really longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Go. Microsoft Surface Go counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a camera with much more MP and a much better video resolution.

Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
